I am thrilled to share that my work is on exhibit in a museum for the first time! The 2025 Monterey Biennial is the Monterey Museum of Art’s inaugural event celebrating contemporary work by artists across central California. My Sierra Burn Scar collage is among the 122 diverse and engaging photos, sculptures, and paintings - on view through August 31st.
The Museum has planned a number of Biennial related events throughout the summer. Find more information and visit the Virtual Gallery at this link.
The 2024 Grant Recipients Exhibition at the Center for Photographic Art opens May 10th! It is truly an honor to be awarded a grant - especially one that includes an exhibition. 18 pieces from my Folding and Mending series are included - the largest local exhibition of my work to date. It kicks off Saturday May 10th at 3pm with an in-person artist talk with all four grant recipients. See exhibition dates and details below.
I am honored that my “Nexus of the Elders” collage is one of 45 pieces selected for display in the annual CPA Members’ Juried Exhibition. Many thanks to juror Allie Haeusslein and CPA Exec. Director Ann Jastrab. This exhibition always proves to be an interesting survey of contemporary photography crossing many genres. This year, it is part of the inaugural PhotoCarmel Festival. Come on by and check it out! Through May 4th, reception Saturday, March 29, 4-6pm.
It’s all coming together now! If you’re in the Portland area, we hope you can stop in at Blue Sky/ Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts to see our exhibition.

While I was honored at the invitation, it was a bit daunting to reflect on my “Life’s Work.” It is interesting to see how others put their creative journey into perspective. Thank you Laurie Freitage at L.A. Photo Curator for including me in “21 Women Photographers: Life’s Work 2024.” You can read the article at this link or access my essay directly here.
Beyond grateful to juror Elizabeth Avedon for selecting my photo-collage “Grassy Slough” to hang among so many exceptional and creative works in the 2024 Center for Photographic Art International Juried Exhibition. On view in the CPA gallery and online November 23rd through December 29th.
My new photo-collage, “Submergent” now hangs in Fort Collins, CO. What an honor to be part of “Center Forward 2024,” the Center for Fine Art Photography’s annual survey of contemporary photography! On view at the Center for Creativity in Fort Collins from October 30 through November 23, 2024 or Online Exhibition.
Super psyched about my upcoming three-person exhibition with Charlotta Hauksdottir and Adrienne Defendi at Art Works Downtown in San Rafael. Curator Emmanuelle Namont has put together an amazing show titled: “Transformative Landscapes: A Contemporary Perspective.” An Art Talk and Cyanotype Workshop are also planned. Hope you can stop by if you’re in the Bay Area.

Call-for-Entry: “The Handmade Tale”
I am delighted to be co-juror for L.A. Photo Curator’s “The Handmade Tale” alongside the talented photo-artist Diana H. Bloomfield. This international call is for photographic work that includes a handmade component to tell the story, including “alternative process” prints or digital prints with hand-applied techniques.
