Volume 1: "Obscurities"

March 2020

"Mysteries lie all around us, even in the most familiar things, waiting only to be perceived."

- Wynn Bullock

I've always embraced the concept of ambiguity - the quality of being open to more than one interpretation. I think that seeking a different perspective can reveal hidden wonders in the world, especially with photography. Here are some obscurities seen and captured in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

“Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better.”

― Albert Einstein

When something is obscure -  unclear, or ambiguous, it invites us to look deeper...to consider what is beyond the obvious.

“One should not only photograph things for what they are but for what else they are.”

 – Minor White
