"Night & the City" is one of several "Speed of Light" portfolios exploring the relationship between matter, space, light, and time. The low light and movement of subjects through the dark allows them to blur into their surrounding space. The camera movement adds a further impressionistic dimension while the shadowy forms and soft light create a sense of mystery.
