Volume 5: "Stonehenge Revisited"

August  2020

Time for something a little different. While revisiting the library of images from my visit to Stonehenge a few years ago, I was searching for a way to express the vibrant inner life I felt generating from the monument. The solarization process used by Man Ray and Edmund Teske came to mind, where the tones in an image are wholly or partially reversed - dark areas appear light and vice versa. I decided to explore this direction by using the effect to develop some "sketches." I'm sharing a few of them here - in both color and monochrome.
